Idea behind the Name
Hotspot is a very commonly used word nowadays, it has different meanings, the availability of internet wireless connection and according to Oxford dictionary its a small area with a relatively high temperature in comparison to its surroundings.

When we created Hotspot, we had in mind the power of influence and the power of creativity of a small dedicated team. Yes, Hotspot is a small team with a relatively high effect in comparison to its surroundings and competitors. You can be the support of your team because chances are, you will be the most influential person in the room at Hotspot always.

Brand Personality

Chilly, smiley, enthusiastic, cheerful, friendly, full-of-life, creative.

Logo Concept

We designed the letters from the Tahoma family type with additional curves to give a friendly and trusty feeling. We connected it with "marketing and advertising agency" in an oval shape in the negative space around it, also we gave it a cheerful look with the smiley face عبسي.

Character Concept

For our project, after pondering of our values, culture and team spirit. We choose عبسي the smiley face as the character. We were inspired by the smile we see on our valued customers' faces when they receive our services, in addition to the team spirit we work with.

Character Development

The character started with a simple design representing the hotspot internet connection sign, then we decided that Hotspot has more to give, after sketching and re-sketching to go with the values. We looked at the word "Hotspot" and there it was a smiley chilly face.
